How to create a digital wedding card, step by step
You can design a Wishes2Vows card from start to finish without an account and without paying. This guide walks through each step in the order the studio shows them: choose a design, type the few details only you know, edit the rest in a live phone preview, then check out and publish when you are ready.

1. Choose a design
Open the studio and you land on the design gallery. Each design shows its own sample card, so you can tap through the opening, scroll the sections and see how the events and RSVP look before you type anything. Nothing is saved or charged while you browse, and switching designs does not touch a draft you have already started.
Pick the design whose opening and layout you like most. Colours, wording, photos and music all change later in the editor, so you are choosing a structure and a mood rather than final text. If you want to see a design working with real-looking content first, the public demo pages show finished sample cards that open exactly as a guest would see them.
- Look at the opening animation: it is the first thing guests see when they tap your link.
- Check how the design lays out several events if you have more than one function.
- Open the design on your own phone. Guests will almost all read your card on a phone.
2. Type the basics
The second step asks only for what nobody else can fill in for you: the two names, the wedding date, and the web address your card will live at. The web address is suggested from your names, and you can change it. The phone preview beside the form updates as you type, so you can see your names on the card straight away.
Those three things are the minimum to check out. The venue can wait, but you need it before you publish, because a card without a venue cannot be published. A title line is optional: if you leave it blank, the card simply shows no title rather than sample text.
| Stage | Required |
|---|---|
| Save and check out | Both names and the wedding date (the web address comes from the names) |
| Publish to guests | Everything above, plus the venue name |
| Title line | Never required; a blank title shows nothing |
3. Edit everything else in the live preview
From the basics step you can check out straight away, or carry on into the editor to build more. The editor shows your card in a phone frame next to the controls, and every change appears in the preview as you make it. A replay button runs the opening again so you can see it the way a guest will.
In the editor you can change the couple names and the opening, add, remove and edit events with their dates, times and dress codes, add venues with Google Maps and Waze links, tell your story, build a photo gallery, choose background music, set up the guest guide, gifts and contacts, switch the RSVP form's dietary question on, and reword the WhatsApp messages.
Locked sections and your package
Your draft carries a package, which you can change from the Change package control in the editor. Sections that belong to a bigger package are shown as locked, so you always know what your current choice includes. The pricing page compares every item across the packages side by side.
4. Saving your draft and signing in
You do not need an account to design. Until you sign in, your draft is kept in this browser on this device only, so a draft started on your laptop will not appear on your phone. That is the one thing to know before you spend an evening on it.
You are asked to sign in with Google when you press Checkout. Signing in saves the draft to your account, and from then on it saves automatically as you edit. Pressing Checkout and signing in does not charge you anything by itself; payment only happens on the Stripe page that follows.
5. Check out, then publish
Packages start at RM 149. Checkout is a single Stripe payment: there is no subscription and no per-guest fee. When Stripe sends you back, the payment is confirmed and the card is set up on your account, and you are taken to My Events, where your cards are listed.
A paid card is not visible to guests until you publish it. Publishing is a separate step, so you can pay first and finish the details at your own pace. Once you publish, the card is live at its web address and you can share the link with your guests, usually on WhatsApp.
- Choose a design in the studio.
- Type both names, the date and check the web address.
- Edit the rest in the editor, or skip straight to checkout.
- Press Checkout and sign in with Google, then press Checkout again and pay on Stripe.
- Add the venue if you have not yet, then publish and share the link.
You can keep editing after the card is live. Changes you make in the editor reach guests when you publish them, so you can fix a time or add a photo without making a new card.
Common questions
Do I need an account to design a digital wedding card?
No. The studio and the editor work without an account. You sign in with Google only when you press Checkout.
Why can I not see my draft on another device?
Before you sign in, the draft is kept only in the browser you made it in. Sign in at checkout and it is saved to your account.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once through Stripe, with no subscription and no per-guest fee. Packages start at RM 149.
Do guests see my card as soon as I pay?
No. Publishing is its own step after payment. Guests see the card only once you publish it, and you need a venue name to publish.
Can I change the card after it is published?
Yes. Edit it in the editor and publish the changes, so a corrected time or a new photo reaches guests on the same card.
