RSVP guide
How guests RSVP to your digital wedding card
Your guests reply on the card itself, in the browser, without an app or an account. This guide shows exactly what they are asked, how a phone number ties a reply to one household, what happens when someone wants to change their answer, and where it all lands for you.

1. What guests fill in
The RSVP form is part of the card from the Deluxe package up. A guest scrolls to it, or taps the RSVP shortcut, and answers a short set of questions. The questions are fixed so every reply arrives in the same shape. Their wording is not in the editor today, but we can reword the labels on your card if you ask.
- Their name.
- Their phone number.
- Whether they are coming, yes or no.
- How many people are in their party, including themselves.
- The names of the other people coming with them.
- Which events they will attend, when your card has more than one event taking replies.
- Dietary needs, only if you have switched that question on.
- An optional message to you.
There are no custom questions. If you need to ask something the form does not cover, put it in your guest guide or ask it on WhatsApp after the reply comes in.
2. How a phone number identifies a reply
The phone number is what makes one reply one household. It is checked when the guest types it and stored in international format, so 012-345 6789 and +60 12 345 6789 are the same number. Numbers from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the United States are accepted.
Only the person replying gives a phone number. The rest of the party are named, not numbered, so an aunt replying for four people types her own number and three names. If the same number is used again from a different phone or browser, the form does not overwrite the first reply. It explains that a reply may already exist for that number and offers a button to contact you.
Phone: +60 12-345 6789
Coming: Yes, party of 4
Also coming: Hakim, Aina, Danish
Events: Akad nikah, Reception
3. Party size and events
Each reply has a party-size limit. It is 10 people per reply unless your card is set to a different number, and we can change it for you. When a party is large, the form asks the guest to confirm the names of everyone coming, so your list has people in it rather than a bare number.
When your card has two or more events taking replies, the form asks which ones the guest will attend, and your counts are kept per event. A guest coming to the reception but not the akad nikah is counted only where they will be. With a single event the question does not appear at all.
Dietary needs
The dietary question is optional and is off for new cards. Switch it on in the editor under RSVP and each attending guest can choose halal only, no beef, no pork, vegetarian or vegan, and add a note. Answers already given are kept if you turn the question off again.
4. The ticket after replying
When a guest sends their reply they get a ticket on screen with a reference code. They can save it as an image or share it from their phone. The ticket is shown on the card; it is not emailed or sent by message.
Encourage guests to keep it. It is the quickest way for them, and for you, to confirm that a reply really went through, because you can search your guest list by the code on their ticket.
5. Changing a reply later
A guest can reopen their reply and change it from the same browser on the same phone they replied on. The card remembers that browser, so coming back to the link shows their ticket and lets them edit the answer.
From another phone, or after clearing their browser, they cannot edit it themselves. The form points them to your WhatsApp instead, and you can change the reply for them from your guest list in the console. That keeps one household from being counted twice.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| Same phone, same browser | The guest reopens the card and edits the reply |
| Different phone or browser | The form points the guest to your WhatsApp |
| You change it for them | Edit the reply from the guest list in the console |
6. The RSVP deadline and the WhatsApp shortcut
Your card can have an RSVP deadline. It is not in the editor today, so ask us and we set it for you. After the deadline the form closes and tells guests to message you on WhatsApp instead, so late replies still reach you, just not as a self-serve form.
Next to the form there is a one-tap RSVP on WhatsApp button, which opens a chat with you and a message already written. You choose the number guests message and reword that message in the editor under WhatsApp messages. It suits older relatives who would rather type to you than fill in a form, and you can then add their reply yourself.
Common questions
Do guests need an app or an account to RSVP?
No. They open the card from your link in their browser and reply on the card itself.
Can one guest RSVP for the whole family?
Yes. One reply covers the whole party, up to the limit set for your card (10 people by default), and the guest names everyone coming.
Can a guest change their RSVP?
Yes, from the same browser on the phone they replied on. From another device the form points them to your WhatsApp, and you can change the reply for them in the console.
Which phone numbers are accepted?
Numbers from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Which package has the RSVP form?
