A wedding seating planner that starts from your RSVPs
Nobody types the guest list twice. A reply for a party of four becomes four people in the seating pool the moment it is sent, ready to drag onto a table.
Package
The seating planner and its printouts are sold with the Grand package.
The pool fills itself
For each event, the planner lists exactly who said yes to that event, one chip per person. Change a reply and the pool follows.
Try it yourself
Drag guests onto tables and move tables around the floor plan of a sample reception.
A sample wedding with made-up guests. Nothing is sent to anyone, and your changes reset when you reload.
Drag, group, undo
Lay out your tables on a canvas, then drag guests onto them with a mouse or a press-and-hold on a phone. Drag a whole family and only the members without a seat move.
- Rubber-band select to move many tables and venue elements at once.
- Group tables and venue elements so they move together, and lock them.
- Undo the last 30 changes.
- Layout presets and snap guides to keep rows straight.
Print what you will be holding
Print the seating chart, the table-assignment sheets for the door and a master layout, all through your browser's print dialog. Table assignments also export as .xlsx for your caterer.
What it does not do
- It seats people who have replied. A guest on your plan who has not replied gets no seat until they RSVP or you add them by hand.
- Table positions and seat assignments are saved to your account; the venue drawing (stage, walls and so on) is saved on the device you drew it on, with an export file to move it.
- Groups are remembered in the browser you made them in.
- A “find your table” page guests open from a QR code at the entrance is a pilot we switch on by request.
Questions couples ask
Do I have to add guests to the seating plan by hand?
No. Everyone who replied yes to an event appears in that event's seating pool automatically, one chip per person.
Can I use the seating planner on my phone?
Yes. Press and hold a guest to start dragging, then drop them on a table.
Can I print the seating chart?
Yes. The seating chart, table-assignment sheets and master layout print through your browser, and table assignments export to Excel.
